Nothing like a bit of early planing!
Shropshire Curry Club’s (SCC) event on Wedsnesday 12 December at Panacea restaurant, Shrewsbury will see delegates not only gathering in a convivial atmosphere for some pre season festive networking over a tasty curry (and may be a glass of wine or a bottle of Kingfisher or two to toast a prosperous 2013!), but to also raise money for SCC’s nominated charity – Severn Hospice.
Established in 1989 Severn Hospice is an independent organisation which cares for people living with complex and progressive illness. Its aim is to sustain the quality of its patients’ lives and to provide relief from pain and other distressing symptoms. Because incurable illnesses affect whole families Severn Hospice offers the same loving support, help and counselling to their families, friends and carers. Two thirds of its revenue comes from public fundraising and as such SCC is helping in its own way to support the great work Severn Hospice carries out.
SCC would welcome Networking In The City curry club members from other areas of the country to attend this event and sample some of Shropshire’s fine hospitality.
